This project was completed on behalf of Irish Water. This was a joint venture project between Farrans and Meridian Utilities Ltd. The JV was appointed to provide Domestic Water Metering Services and Works within the Dublin County region in Ireland.

The works provided were as follows:-

• •  The installation of boundary boxes, fittings and water meters with radio units and/or integrated meters using approved meter reading technology into existing domestic service pipes including all surveys, excavation, backfill and reinstatement requirements utilising the Meridian works management system;
  • Provision of all boundary boxes, fittings and water meters with radio units and/or integrated meters (either meter option may include meter reading technology);
  • Meter reading and maintenance of those water meters with radio units and/or integrated meters installed was also required for a fixed period.
