As a JV partner in Meridian Utilities Limited we have been involved in the design and delivery of over 290,000m of water mains ranging in size from 90mm to 355mm, in both urban and rural environments to Northern Ireland Water. Over 80% of these water mains were delivered utilising trenchless technologies, a 50/50 split between Directional Drilling and Pipe Bursting. The remaining 20% utilised traditional open cut techniques.

Other miscellaneous works included

• Installation of customer service pipes
• Installation of control valves plus the associated chambers
• Connections to the existing system
• Cleaning, flushing other maintenance type operations by swabbing, pigging and air scouring
• Civil engineering & Mechanical and electrical works associated with control valves; booster pumps; domestic and industrial meter installations; rationalisation of apparatus within service reservoir sites and other NIW sites
• Decommissioning of sections of existing water distribution mains, valving and control systems, pumping apparatus and associated structures, fittings and assemblies.
