We have a proven track record in wind farm construction which stretches back to 2001. To date we have delivered over 20 projects (both main contractor and sub-contracted) across the United Kingdom and Ireland & played a key role in the construction of Northern Ireland’s wind farm development at Evishagaran Wind farm, Garvagh as the JV main civil contractor and as main contractor on Clogheravaddy Windfarm, Donegal.

Our services include; Design & build of onshore wind farms including topographical surveys, setting out boundaries, met mast installation, turbine locations, access road routes, substation building and bottomless culverts. Mills Contracts Ltd have also completed numerous turbine cable installation on wind farm projects and have also previously completed the first contestability grid connection project for Evishagaran Wind farm of which this consisted of 7km of double 33KV excavation & reinstatement, cable installation and jointing. Provision of balance of plant works for wind farm experience includes construction of access roads, turbine foundations, control buildings and trenching works for grid connection.
